Good Morning everyone! Hello to my new followers, and welcome back if you’re returning!
Today is Fashion Friday and I wanted you to bring the colour to this one. One I don’t often wear at that!
Orange, I know it’s a pretty bold statement but there was something cool about putting a blazer on over a dress!
Both of these items are from River Island

These colours just scream holiday, and it kinda makes me sad because I’m not going abroad this year 😭!
I love the tassel detail on the dress, and of course the asymmetric design adds more interest to the overall look. The blazer adds a touch of sophistication and means that you could easily wear this outfit for an evening meal without getting too cold!
What do you think? I would love to hear from you so let me know in the comments below!

Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning! Happy Monday to you all!
I am excited about this post. I am reallllllly excited, because I feel like I have stepped out of my comfort zone with my makeup and done something a little different!
I did a makeup haul recently and I was on the hunt for one item in particular. White Eyeliner. And indeed I found a White Liquid Liner in Superdrug for an amazing £3… I mean what a price.
I am a black liner gal through and through. So white was a whole lot different to what I’m used to but I am so happy with my results!
I’m literally in love with this look. It’s my favourite to date. In terms of application I would say you have to go over the white a lot more than you do with black, this could possibly be to do with the price.
Do you like the little dots I put on my nose? I feel like they add a slightly boho touch.
I think the lip colour fits really well with the look as a whole, using my Primark Liquid Lip Kit, again £3.
I actually felt a little self conscious going out like this, mainly because you don’t see many people out and about rocking the white liner. But I did it anyway, and I actually got so many compliments! Lots of people said I looked really pretty! Which was really nice because generally I wouldn’t class myself as pretty.
Let me know what you think beauties! And if you’re new here, hit up that follow button!

Good Morning blogging world!
I kinda like to switch it up with my Sunday Shoutout posts because apparently I get bored easily and I like to try different things to keep my followers engaged!
So this Sunday, I will be shouting out a beauty blogger and I will tailor my Q+A accordingly by asking beauty related questions!
- This is a fun way to share beauty tips and tricks.
- Great to show off your favourite brands.
- And I like getting to know you guys a little more!
Does this sound like a bit of you?
If so let me know by posting your link in the comment below and your Instagram or Twitter @ and I will be sure to contact one of you to take part!
Of course you have to be following me to be considered for the Shoutout!
Can’t wait to see your submissions!

When I started putting WERK into blogging in January, I had no idea I would be celebrating 300 followers so soon!
I guess I just want to say thank you to every one of the people that follow me! Especially the ones who take the time out to interact with me and get to know me more via my blog and Instagram page!
Blogging has changed my life in a few small but significant ways…
- I make more effort with my appearance.
- I have something to aspire towards.
- I have learnt so much! (And not just about makeup!)
- I have become more confident.
Significant because I am happier because of it!
300 Followers May seem small to some, but I was sat looking at 0 not so long ago so it feels great!
This has been the start of my journey into being more me and caring a lot less about what other people might think!
So I am going to share a sick quote with you (that my Husband shared with me) that has really helped me along in this process.
So next time you tell someone you want to make a living from blogging and they turn their nose up. Give them the middle finger and mic drop this quote on their lap.
Or just think it in your head, y’know, whatever’s best at the time!
And on that note…
I would love to hear from you guys!
If you could take a few moments it would be awesome if you could paste these questions in the comments and answer them and I will be sure to get back to you, and visit your blog of course!
- How has blogging changed you?
- What has kept you motivated on your journey?
- Has it been what you expected?
- Is it something you wish to continue?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

This quote gives me goosebumps. Honestly, it’s one of those quotes that makes me smile and scared whenever I see it.
It makes me smile because I believe this is an aspect of myself that I like. I count myself as an honest person. I’m not talking about that brash honesty that makes you cringe because it’s falling out of a loud mouth who doesn’t care about anyone else’s feelings.
I’m talking about being honest when it matters. Whether that’s being honest with a friend about why they upset you, or being honest when you’ve done something wrong. These things can be quite scary for a number of reasons. One being that you don’t want another person to think badly of you, or feel badly about something they’ve done.
But sometimes it is necessary.
So, I just wanted to share that with you guys because I think it is really important to always speak your truth. Even when your voice shakes.
Is there a quote that means a lot to you? If so paste it in the comments and tell me why! I would love to hear more!

I saw this quote yesterday and I thought. Yes, this is absolutely true. I guess that’s what ‘relatable’ means.
Many things have changed about my life over the past few years. Lots of amazing things have happened, and some not so amazing things. But what I do know is that I am becoming a better person every day, I think a lot about who I am as a person, there have been lots of changes to ‘who I am’ throughout my life. That’s kind of what happens through experiencing new things.
I try to learn something from every experience I have, good or bad. I reflect and I carry on determined to make my life a little bit happier because of it.
I have my flaws and I’m still working on some aspects of who I am. But I am more myself than I have ever been.
I just wanted to share that with you guys, because I want you all to know, it is perfectly acceptable to change, and even be a completely different person to who you were a few years ago. Experiences do change us. It’s up to us to decide how!
