Tourist in my own city…

Good evening everyone! Welcome to my new readers and welcome back to the ones that have been following me from the beginning! I Love U!

The weekend just passed was awesome, because I found an sickkkk deal on a one night stay at an apartment in Birmingham and even though Birmingham is my home town, I booked it!

1: Because I felt like I needed a little family adventure. Not going on holiday this year has really taken its toll on me.

2: Because it was the perfect location to up my photograph game on Instagram!

Kieran and I were saying how different we felt when we walked into town for a bite to eat. It was like I was looking at Birmingham for the first time πŸ˜‚! I think we just had a different vibe because we knew we were staying over!

Hunter (My little boy) loved the experience, and he really enjoyed waving at other people from the balcony!

It’s made me realise there is a lot more to the place you live, and how important it is to do spontaneous things and not get stuck in the same old routine. I’m already saving up for our next little trip!

If you’re thinking of booking somewhere, use this link and it will get us both Β£15 off our next trip!

£15 Each 😍

Here’s a video of the apartment too:

Review: Colour Pop No Filter Concealer

Good Morning Everyone!

I happen to be waking up in a beautiful apartment in Birmingham this morning with my family so all is well!

I bought the CP No Filter Concealers a few weeks ago now, and have been planning my review for a while since I bought them, but I wanted to make sure I’d applied a few times before I made my mind up about them.

What I will say is, they’re great, but they’re not amazing.

The improved shade range is brilliant in my opinion and that is because I never normally find a concealer light enough for my complexion!

So I obviously had to be completely extra and buy the two lightest shades!

002 I will normally use on its own although I sometimes mix it with my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer if I’m wearing fake tan! I also mix my 00 shade because clearly no one is that pale πŸ˜…!

I really feel like these shades have upped my makeup game, because I find it a lot easier to contour and highlight when I actually have contrasting colours to my foundation.

One down point I will say, is that the formula seems to dry really dry and it collects in all the small creases under my eye, this happens pretty much soon after it dries.

Not sure if that’s anything to do with my primer though but I shouldn’t think so? I can’t complain too much because they are only $6!!!

Overall I do really like them, but I think I would prefer my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer if they had my shade!

I really hope you enjoyed this review!

Hit that follow button if you haven’t already and have an amazing day!

Something you didn’t know about me!

Good Evening!

So Today I decided to tell you all a little bit more about me! Well, one thing in particular and it is that a few years ago now I got my first sewing machine, and I taught myself how to sew clothing!

Now I am nowhere near perfect and I definitely have a lot more to learn, but recently I unboxed some of my old materials and thought I would give it another go!

This is what I made…

This is a pastel purple two piece consisting of a halter neck bralet and a mini skirt.

Like I mentioned, I haven’t used my sewing machine for a few years now so I was unsure as to whether I would make anything of substance, but I was actually really chuffed with myself!

What do you think?

I feel like this looks like a legitimate outfit so I am pretty buzzing to be honest 😁!

Would you guys be interested in seeing more of my creations? Because if you are let me know! I would love to show more πŸ€“!

Thank you to all of my new followers and for all of my returning followers, you mean so much to me!

Good Night and Lots of Love

Thought of the day: Living Your Best Life!

I was just scrolling on Facebook when I came across this amazing article: The Top 5 Regrets of the Dying

Yes I know, totally morbid. But the top regret has got me shoooook, and not because I was shocked by it, but because I have been thinking about this topic a lot this new year!

So one of the top regrets that the dying share is this…

β€œ1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.”

“This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.”

– And this is why I will forever encourage myself and my little family to do what they love! If you are not hurting anyone, forget the standards and social norms other people set, forget judgement, because living your best life is being happy with who you are and what you’re doing!

Imagine being on your death bed and realising your whole life was trying to fit into what everyone else expected of you. Or having not done the things that people thought you couldn’t. Even though it would have been your absolute dream!

Which is why I plan to continue blogging and building up my Instagram page, because it is something I love to do!

What are your thoughts on this topic? Let me know in the comments below!

Style Saturday 😏

Good Afternoon bloggers!

It appears that the UK is experiencing a bit of a heatwave the past few days and I’ve been taking full advantage of it!

Including adding some colour to my outfits!

I actually bought this outfit from DEPOP a long time ago, if you’re not familiar it is an app on which you can sell items new and old via your smart phone! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it (because obviously the seller had the colour match on point) and snapped it up for something silly like Β£10!

I wore it on a holiday a few years back and completely forgot about it!

I did feel a bit self conscious wearing something so bright but sometimes you just have to think oh well and go for it don’t you!

What’s your go to summer colour?

A Festival Lovers Dream πŸ˜

I come across many new brands daily on instagram, but it takes something really special these days to catch your eye. And I’ve been bewitched by the stunning OUTCAST CLOTHING 😍!

Honestly, their pieces are stunning and I’ve adequately named this post because their stock is sparkle heaven!

Honestly their festival wear is to die for:

Their instagram @__outcastclothing is phenomenal, equipped with videos of their most sparkly numbers, I’m literally in love!

I’m not even being paid to say this folks I just legit think they’re awesome πŸ˜‚!

They also sell things that are just as beaut but don’t have the specific label of festival wear…

So pretty 😻!

If you’ve got a festival coming up then swing their way!
