3 Ways to stay motivated with blogging!

Hey there people!

For a few weeks now I have been focusing on things that make me happy in life. While doing this I realised that I would like to pursue my dream of being a blogger/instagram influencer.

I am on a roll with consistently blogging and producing content at a good rate on my Instagram page (@loleihm), so I wanted to share some of the things that help me to stay on the ball!

1: If you’re feeling de-motivated, have a shower.

If you wake up and immediately feel like you just want to laze around all day doing nothing but eating snacks and binge watching Netflix, have a shower! Wash your hair, pamper yourself and have a think about your blog topic for today… when you’re done, get dressed! When you do these things, you will feel fresh and ready to have a productive day! When I feel fresh and ready I get a lot more done. When I stay in my pyjamas all day it seems that I stay in sleep mode for the entirety of it, and if you have a busy schedule, every bit of free time counts!

2: Take advantage when you’re being productive!

If you are on a roll one morning and you’ve done your makeup, and you’ve picked your outfit of the day to blog about for example, don’t stop there! Take photos of your outfit, then change it, is there another style you want to blog about in the near future? Put it on and get the evidence so that when you have a busy day, you have your content ready to go! If you did your makeup, what products did you use? Is there a product you’d like to review? If so, get the evidence! This means that you already have multiple things to blog about from one morning and you have all the photographs to prove it. Then if you do have a pyjama day, you can still type away on your phone and get that blog posted!

3: Remember the reasons why you started!

When you’re feeling down In the dumps and you’re not getting the followers or readership you wanted, at the rate you expected, DO NOT QUIT! Remember the reasons why you started and focus on those! Make a list of reasons why you love blogging and remember that if you are consistent and pour genuine passion into your blog topic you will slowly build up a following of like minded people!

So! Give it a go and let me know what you think in the comments below!

Are you a fashion blogger? Comment yours below!

Hey hey everyone!

I have only recently started blogging and instagramming my fashion. I think it’s quite important to get out there and interact with other people who are doing the same thing!

1: Because you can gain tons of inspiration from your peers, whether that’s fashion advice or simply how to take your fashion photographs effectively!

2: Because it’s great to talk to new people with the same interests.

3: Because they may be asking questions you can answer!

So with all that in mind…

If you run your own fashion blog, add it to the comments below and I’ll be sure to check it out and leave some comments myself!

Lots of love!

How to style a deep-v outfit when you have small boobs!

Hey hey everyone!

Now I don’t know about the other small boobed people in the neighbourhood. But I’m a size 8 everywhere and more like a size 6 in the chest department, and it seems that when I buy deep-v cut dresses, jumpsuits etc, I am left feeling a bit silly because there is SO much space hanging out where my boobs should be! So if I went without some sort of bra, my breasts would be out all night and I’m not sure I could handle chilly nipples for that long (or the strange looks).

So I thought why not write a blog about how I styled a jumpsuit that was too big for my boobs!

ENTER: The bralette! These days you can get many different types of bralette to go with all sorts of outfits. Some thick and some sheer like the one I’m wearing above! The model in the photograph was wearing this outfit without a bra but as I was struggling with this option I decided a sheer bralette with a floral appliqué would be perfect! To be honest I think that it only enhances the outfit as a whole 😁! I finished off the look with a simple necklace to divide a bit of the skin space left over and hey presto, I’m pretty impressed!

Ultimately, what I’m trying to say is, no matter your size or shape, with a bit of imagination you can rock any outfit you like, so don’t be put off certain styles because you look different to the model on the website!

I would love to hear your thoughts on the topic! So if you have a spare minute, leave a comment on this post!

Look Book 01: Surprise Party 🎉

I had such a brilliant weekend! And so did my Husband because I managed (with a lot of help from his Mother and Father) to throw him a surprise birthday party!

The goal was to make him feel special, because that is what he is!

We often dress up just to go for a meal at his mom and dads house, so I thought the perfect plan was to pretend we were having a meal there, when really all his friends and family were there waiting! It was awesome and he had no idea 😁!

Boots: Ego Shoes and dress: Boohoo I received many compliments on my carefully chosen outfit, which I was pleased about as I have been making an effort in the fashion department in recent times!I thought the colours in this outfit were just gorgeous and match with my complexion as sometimes I can look quite pale. The boots are actually so comfortable I could easily wear them on a night out!

The dress, I felt amazing in, but the only downfall was that the side split in the was actually very high! It looks ok in the photograph but if you’re moving around it rides up so given that it’s short already the booty is on show if it goes up any further 😂! I don’t know about you but I’m not a fan of flashing people so I actually wore some black gym shorts underneath. I don’t think I should have picked a bigger size as the dress fitted well everywhere else, I think this was just the design of the dress!

All in all I was pretty happy with this look! What do you think?
